- No pitch. The call is for figuring out whether the problem is real, well defined, and something I can actually help with.
- Honest routing. If it’s a defined build I’ve done before, we go straight to a one-page scope. If it needs discovery first, that’s an assessment. If it’s outside my lane, I’ll say so on the call.
- Written scope. No work starts without a written statement of work: fixed deliverables, fixed fee, no surprises.
